Home and Personal Care Ingredients Exhibition and Conference India (HPCI) continues to grow and brings together experts focused on raw materials and techniques for the formulation of cosmetic and cleaning products.

It was early last year when ExpoNova Exhibitions & Conferences (India) Pvt. Ltd., (a Joint Venture between Nu¨rnbergMesse, Indian publisher Colour Publications and German specialist publisher Vincentz Network) acquired the show completely from its German organiser SOFW, Verlag fu¨r chemische Industrie H. Ziolkowsky GmbH

Post the acquisition, the 2019 edition promises to be the largest and most comprehensive show ever. The exhibition will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) from 14th to 15th March 2019 in Mumbai.

The cosmetics and personal care industry is one of the fastest growing consumer products sectors in India, while the personal care and cosmetics sector has shown continued strong growth, owing to the awareness of quality beauty products, emphasis on personal grooming, changes in consumption patterns, lifestyle and better purchasing power.

The market size of India's beauty, cosmetic and grooming market will reach $ 20 billion by 2025, according to Assocham and the sales of home care products in the Indian market are set to rise to USD 14.77 billion by 2020, according to Indian Beauty & Hygiene Association.

HPCI India covers all aspects of the formulation and manufacture of household and personal care products, aromatic ingredients and fragrances, making it the largest trade fair in this segment in the Indian market.

This year, there will be 200 plus leading exhibitors / representing companies at HPCI India 2019 from various sectors such as raw material & ingredients distributors/suppliers, private label & contract manufacturing, raw materials and ingredients for skin care & hair care, raw materials and ingredients toiletries & fragrance, testing and research laboratories, formulation consultants / companies, essential oils for fragrances, Ayurveda ingredients, nutraceutical ingredients and more.

Apart from a comprehensive product display, HPCI India along with Indian Society of Cosmetic Chemists will host conferences and workshops addressing key topics related to wellness and cosmetics. Technical Seminars by exhibitors, Innovation Zone, Innovation Awards, are some of the other concurrent events that are a part of this expo.

Innovation Zone & Awards

The Innovation Zone, a unique initiative started by HPCI India, showcases raw material products, each launched either at the show or within 6 months, allowing manufacturers to gain inspiration for their next product formulations. The initiative also invites visitors to explore the latest product launches and formulation displays.

The Innovation Zone Best Ingredient Awards are given to honour the development of a novel active or functional ingredient featured on the Innovation Zone.
