- 51 contracts for pavilions worldwide
- Contracts awarded by four sponsors at national and state level
- NürnbergMesse strongly represented at international medical fairs
NürnbergMesse is registering a new record level of success in its worldwide involvement: 51 contracts for pavilions at international trade fairs and exhibitions have been received by the exhibition company in 2017. Exhibiting companies are benefiting from the linking of long-standing exhibition, sector and country know-how. “The step into new markets and countries can be a challenge for small and medium-sized companies. An efficient springboard for new contacts is offered by pavilions”, said Dr Roland Fleck, CEO NürnbergMesse Group. “We have been supporting exhibitors with their international trade fair participation for many years and we ensure that everything runs smoothly at the event”, reports Peter Ottmann, CEO NürnbergMesse Group. In 2017, NürnbergMesse has been successful particularly in securing contracts for medical technology and healthcare trade fairs.
Cost-effective trade fair participation and experienced service partners at your side: those are the main reasons for small and medium-sized companies to participate in an international pavilion. NürnbergMesse is being commissioned with the organization of the stands by the Bundeswirtschaftsministerium (BWMi, Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, the Bundesministerium für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft (BMEL, Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture) or, on federal state level, by Bayern International and Hessen Trade & Invest. For 2017 the outcome so far is 51 pavilions on five continents. NürnbergMesse possesses comprehensive expertise and competence in the fields of medicine, medical technology and healthcare. Here the trade fair and exhibition experts are organizing stands among others at the following trade fairs and exhibitions: MEDICAL JAPAN (15 - 17 February 2017), Australian Healthcare Week (8 - 10 March 2017), China International Medical Equipment Fair (15 - 18 May 2017), Thailand Lab (6 - 8 September 2017), Medtec China (20 - 22 September 2017) as well as Medicall Mumbai (6 - 8 October 2017).
Also involved with numerous pavilions organized by NürnbergMesse is the Funeralia GmbH company, outfitter and manufacturer in the fields of anatomy, pathology and forensic medicine. “We particularly appreciate the professional organization at trade fairs and exhibitions abroad”, says Christiane Hogl, Export Sales Manager at Funeralia GmbH. “With the experts from NürnbergMesse at our side, we have been benefiting for many years from the optimum infrastructure and expert all-round service. For example, we can make convenient use of the pavilion lounge for customer meetings without having to organize an expensive trade fair stand ourselves.” The long-standing experience in the area of international medical technology trade fairs is also being channelled into an event, which will be celebrating its premiere in June 2017 in Nuremberg: at the new medical technology fair MT-CONNECT (21 - 22 June 2017), NürnbergMesse will be thematically building on its international trade fair and exhibition expertise.
Bayern International at Beviale Moscow
This year nine Bavarian companies are exhibiting at Beviale Moscow (28 February - 2 March 2017). The participation will for the first time be supported by an information stand provided by Bayern International at the NürnbergMesse event in Moscow. “Even if there is still no Bavarian pavilion this year, the service professionals from our international department will take care of all the requirements on the part of the small and medium-sized companies”, explains Dirk Lauterbach, Director International Pavilions at NürnbergMesse. Beviale Moscow is thus registering further popularity and establishing itself alongside BrauBeviale in Nuremberg and the international trade fairs CRAFT BEER CHINA (17 - 19 May 2017) and CRAFT BEER ITALY (22 - 23 November 2017) within the Nuremberg exhibition company’s “Beviale Family”.
Further contracts have been won by NürnbergMesse mainly in regions where the exhibition company is represented locally, on site by subsidiaries. In this connection, NürnbergMesse has received 12 contracts in China alone, for example for the China Refrigeration (12 - 14 April 2017) or SF CHINA/CHINACOAT (15 - 17 November 2017) trade fairs. Here NürnbergMesse is benefiting from the refrigeration and air-conditioning technology expertise in connection with its own event Chillventa and the paintings and coatings expertise gained from the European Coatings Show. NürnbergMesse is also involved with the staging of pavilions at four trade fairs and exhibitions in the USA, Brazil and India respectively, where they also have subsidiary companies. In growth markets such as Iran, NürnbergMesse is this year organizing the federal participations at iran food + hospitality (23 - 26 May 2017), IRANTEX (03 - 06 September 2017) and MPEX. As the organizer of FENSTERBAU FRONTALE (21 - 24 March 2018), the exhibition company is demonstrating its specialist expertise also in the implementation of pavilions at Windows, Doors & Facades (25 - 27 September 2017) in Dubai or FENESTRATION BAU China (7 - 10 November 2017) in Shanghai.
About the Federal Republic of Germany’s international trade fair programme
The Federal Republic of Germany’s international trade fair and exhibition program (ITFP) covers trade fairs and exhibitions abroad where a federal (government) participation is staged in cooperation with AUMA (Association of the German Trade Fair Industry). With this instrument aimed at promoting foreign trade, the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWi, Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy) along with the Bundesministerium für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft (BMEL, Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture) are enabling companies to participate at trade fairs and exhibitions in pavilions at attractive conditions. In addition to this, many federal states are also operating similar trade fair and exhibition programs.
