South Asia’s largest Woodworking event is set to commence on 27 February – 2nd March 2020 at BIEC, Bengaluru.

The countdown to the 11th edition of South Asia’s biggest and most eagerly anticipated woodworking industry biennial event begins, INDIAWOOD 2020, will be held from 27 February – 2nd March 2020 at Bangalore International Exhibition Center, Bengaluru early next year.

The record breaking 11th edition will feature 70,000+ square meters of space, 75000 + visitors, 850 + exhibitors and 12 country pavilions will showcase modern cutting-edge technologies, machinery, tools, fittings, accessories, raw materials and products for furniture production and wood-based manufacturing.

For the first time ever, INDIAWOOD 2020 will feature NuernbergMesse’s latest acquisition, INDIA MATTRESS TECH EXPO which will perfect complement INDIAWOOD with new pavilions featuring mattress and upholstery production technology, machinery & supplies.

According to Industry forecasts, the woodworking industry is one of the fastest growing sectors of the Indian economy. New India’s vision is all set to be a $5 trillion economy by 2024 offering unlimited opportunities for business.

The 5-day show will be the 11th edition of the region and will focus primarily in attracting buyers from across India, neighboring countries (Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh & Bhutan), Middle-East, Africa and the South East Asian countries.

Key sectors such as housing for all, retail, hospitality, commercial real estate, students housing and co-working spaces will be the driving factors for the furniture manufacturing and woodworking industry in India.

Participants can also look forward to increased number of international buyers at this edition as growth in the export sector is an important element in the progress of developing countries like India.
