India’s most focused event for Organic, Natural Products and Millets is set to be held from 1-3 September 2022

The 14th edition of BIOFACH INDIA co - located with NATURAL EXPO INDIA and the premier edition of MILLETS INDIA will take place from 1 – 3 September 2022 at the India Expo Mart (IEML), Greater Noida, Delhi NCR. BIOFACH INDIA and MILLETS INDIA will be organised by NuernbergMesse India in collaboration with APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority), NATURAL EXPO INDIA is supported by Integrated Nutrient Management, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare. The events will also promote the national schemes of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare namely Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana and Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region.

The event trio will bring the leading companies as well as Start-ups from the Organic, Millets and Natural industry together. Visitors can look forward to a diverse range of products on display, an engaging knowledge programme, along with relevant business and networking opportunities.

Organic Industry on a solid growth trajectory

India produced around 3496800.34 MT (2020-21) of certified organic products which includes all varieties of food products namely Oil Seeds, fibre, Sugar cane, Cereals & Millets, Cotton, Pulses, Aromatic & Medicinal Plants, Tea, Coffee, Fruits, Spices, Dry Fruits, Vegetables, Processed foods etc. The

The Indian organic food market has also seen a surge with a market size touching $820 million in 2020, which was just about $200 million in 2018, as per the report, and is likely to grow at a CAGR of 24% during 2022-2026.

MILLETS INDIA – the future is bright!

India with its 41.04% global market share is the largest global producer and fifth largest exporter of Millets with a production of approx. 12 million MT annually. Recognizing the immense potential of this crop, the Government of India is taking various measures to create further domestic and international demand and to raise awareness of the nutritional values of this superfood to public. To facilitate the movement, 2018 was celebrated as the year of Millets in India and 2023 has now been declared the ‘International Year of Millets’ by United Nations. To provide a relevant forum for Industry in India, NuernbergMesse India will be presenting the premier edition of “MILLETS INDIA”.
