TeleTrusT and it-sa bolster mutual collaboration
Many years of support for it-sa in Nuremberg and around the world
The Bundesverband IT-Sicherheit (IT Security Association Germany, TeleTrusT) is supporting it-sa, the world’s largest IT security exhibition by exhibitor numbers, as a Premium Partner with immediate effect. With 630 exhibitors* and 12,780 trade visitors, it-sa set new records recently. It has been closely associated with TeleTrusT since it debuted. “TeleTrusT has put its stamp on it-sa from the outset, and has been closely associated with the exhibition’s development. We are very pleased to seal our many years of reliable collaboration with TeleTrusT by making it a Premium Partner and taking that collaboration a stage further,” says Frank Venjakob, Executive Director it-sa, NürnbergMesse. TeleTrusT Managing Director Dr Holger Mühlbauer is looking forward to it-sa 2018, which will be held at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 9 to 11 October: “For our member companies, it-sa is the leading platform for dialogue. That is why, as a Premium Partner, we will contribute even more to shaping the exhibition and the accompanying supporting programme.”
Even before now, NürnbergMesse and TeleTrusT, as the organisers, worked very hard together to refine the content of it-sa and the supporting programme: TeleTrusT has been supporting it-sa since its debut in Nuremberg as a member of the Exhibition Advisory Board, and is an active partner to the event, for example with panel and discussion rounds on topics such as Industrie 4.0 and Blockchain. NürnbergMesse also works closely with TeleTrusT when it comes to its international subsidiaries it-sa Brasil and it-sa India.
it-sa is an established part of the exhibition calendar as a dialogue platform for cyber security
“As a leading international platform for the industry that is enjoying huge growth rates, it-sa is an established part of the exhibition calendar for IT security experts and top management,” says Dr Mühlbauer, summarising the result of developments in recent years. By expanding into two halls, with three international pavilions, four open forums and a supporting congress programme with 1,650 participants, it-sa 2017 seamlessly followed up on the positive developments of previous years, underlining its role as a unique platform for dialogue for cyber security.
Warsaw: non-stop to NürnbergMesse and back
From 7 May 2018, direct flights by LOT Polish Airlines will shorten the travel time between Poland’s capital Warsaw and Nuremberg, with two flights in each direction every day from Monday to Friday, and one on weekends. Flights depart Warsaw at 8:15 a.m. and Nuremberg at 10:30 a.m., with flight times of about 100 minutes. Return flights leave Nuremberg at 7:55 p.m. and Warsaw at 5:40 p.m. This will make life easier especially for Polish businesspeople wishing to make a day trip to Nuremberg. The new flight connection will bolster the close economic relationship between the two countries. Exhibitions in Nuremberg alone attract about 350 exhibiting companies and 12,400 trade visitors from Poland every year. The international exhibitions that will initially benefit from the direct flights include Interzoo (pet supplies, 8-11 May), Stone+tec (natural stone, 13-16 June), GaLaBau (garden construction and landscaping, 12-15 September), FachPack (packaging, 25-27 September), Chillventa (refrigeration and air-conditioning technology, 16-18 October) and BrauBeviale (beverage technology, 13-15 November).
